Following orthodontic treatment and periodontal crown lengthening, I fabricated 8 upper veneers for this patient. She was thrilled with her smile and the result of our interdisciplinary care.
This patient born with two front teeth fused as one on her right side, and a missing front tooth on the left side. To improve her esthetics we employed an interdisciplinary approach which included orthodontics, implant placement and crown to replace the missing tooth, and 2 veneers to give the illusion of three teeth. The veneer on her fused tooth was fabricated to look like two teeth with pink porcelain to resemble the missing gum. This patient was unhappy with his old metal-porcelain Maryland bridge, which restored his congenitally missing lateral incisor. Due to the angulation and proximity of the roots on the adjacent teeth, an implant was not an option without orthodontics. To improve his esthetics I fabricated a Zirconia with porcelain bridge for him, with crowns on the two adjacent teeth. The first step was to create a provisional bridge to develop the esthetics and contours. He was thrilled with the improvement, and we reproduced the contours in the final bridge, which he loved.
Due to severe decay this patient unfortunately had to lose her lower teeth. I fabricated a mandibular provisional (temporary bridge) so she was able to smile and function. When implants were later placed by a periodontist, the provisional was converted to a screw-retained prosthesis, so the patent was never without teeth. She was extremely happy with her care.

To create the desired esthetics, I sculpted the desired contours on a model of the patient's teeth. My lab scanned the model to fabricate a milled Provisional which provided the improved contours, occlusion and esthetics which we later reproduced in the final crowns. I fabricated a provisional implant bridge to test out and refine the esthetics, occlusion and contours prior to fabricating the final implant bridge.
